Week 2 Web Architecture

This week I learned a tremendous amount of Linux commands as well as how to ping IP addresses, checking and installing network managers, configuring DNS servers, etc.  Honestly I get very overwhelmed by the reading as I stated last week, but I learn from the hands on.  Unfortunately I have not been able to complete the lab because I believe they are doing some kind of work on the system because I have not been able to get the servers within the Practice Lab to turn on. They show busy and loading, then about halfway through, they power down completely again.  So I will update this accordingly once I complete the lab, which will probably be tomorrow at this point.

UPDATE:

I spent HOURS trying to figure out the lab for Week 2.  I couldn't even get passed Task A with making it work correctly.  I eventually just decided to move on and get what I could out of the lab even though the DNS setup was not configuring correctly.  I went up to my campus and tried to seek help from a tutor, but they were unable to help me determine what the problem was as well. They agreed that I was entering everything into the system correctly, but it was still showing errors. I went ahead and completed the best that I could, but the end result was not what it was supposed to be.  I am going to include the screenshots of the errors I incurred, if  anyone has any suggestions for what I did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.

These are the screenshots of my forward.zone and reverse.zone files showing that everything was entered correctly according to what the lab instructions stated.

These screenshots are what the command journalctl -xn brought up, which was more in depth explanation as to why the systemctl start / restart named.service command did not function properly.

This final screenshot shows all of the final step commands and the errors they showed when the commands did not function properly.

I am so lost with Linux right now.  I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am not sure where to start on understanding this better either.
